Ahead of Saturday local government councils poll in Kogi State ,the Director General of campaign organization of the All progressives Congress for Yagba east Local Government area, Honourable Musa Omaita has reaffirmed the determination of the party‘s stakeholders to work as a team to deliver the party‘s candidates ,Ijagbemi Ashiru and all the councilors of the wards in the tomorrow’s contest.

In a chat with Newsmen in Lokoja today,the seating two time Lawmaker representing the good people of Yagba east state constituency at the house of assembly, Honourable Omaita explained that the party has produced the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Control the majority in the two Chambers of the National assemblies while at the state level its has a seating Governor , twenty five members in the state assembly, three Senators, and six representatives at the green chamber .

The parliamentarian urged his cliental to vote his party Candidates in the tomorrow’s local government elections to make the area remain in the main stream of both the national and state politics

Omaita also revealed that the African Development Congress party (ADC) is not contesting the poll as it major key players especially the member representing Yagba federal constituency at the house of Representatives, Honourable Leke Abejide has declined featuring any candidates for the chairmanship and councilors positions.

He expressed implicit confidence in the capacity of the electoral umpire under the result orientated and integrity personified Mamman Nda Eri as Chairman of Kogi state independent election commission (KOISEC) to deliver to the citizens credible,fair, acceptable and transparent elections and put his name on the map of history.

For some dissidents who might had plotted their schemes to turn the election into threater of war and anarchy, Omaita advised those individuals to a have a re-think as security apparatus will be fully deployed to secure lives and property of the citizens.
