Bills for the Establishment of Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, Kogi State, Four Others Scales First Reading

The Kogi State House of Assembly has passed four bills at first reading.

The bills were Executive bills, were read at first reading at the plenary, of the House of Assembly, today

The Bills included the bill for a law to make provisions for Office of the Auditor General for Local Government Areas in Kogi State, Enact the Local Government Audit Law and other matters connected therewith, 2020.

The other Bills are those for a Law to make Provisions Enacting the Kogi State Education Law and other matters connected therewith, 2020.

Similarly a Bill for a Law to Repeal and Re-Enact the Kogi State Public Procurement Law, 2014 Establishing the State Council on Public Procurement and the State Bureau of Public Procurement and other matters connected therewith, 2020.

Similarly a Bill for a Law to provide for the Establishment of the Central Reference Hospital, Okene and for other matters connected therewith, 2020.

Lastly, the Bill for a Law to Provide for the Establishment of the Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, Kogi State and for other matters connected therewith, 2020.

The bills were signed by Yahaya Bello, Executive Governor of Kogi State.

The House Plenary adjourned till Tuesday, 28th of July, 2020.
