Lockdown: Kabba Bunu people asked to cooperate with Government – Barr. Dare

The people of Kabba Bunu LGA of Kogi State have been asked to cooperate with the Government in this period of the Lockdown.

Barr. Zacceaus Dare Michael, an APC Chairmanship Aspirant made the call in a statement, said the lockdown is not the end of life, assuring that this phase of life would come and pass.

Barr. Dare disclosed that the Lockdown is occasion by some opposition recalcitrant leaders who are bent on venting there anger following there failures in the last election.

Barr. Dare insisted that there is no covid19 in Kabba Bunu, explaining that the Lockdown would no doubt create hardship, said it is a phase that would soon pass away.

He described Kabba Bunu as an area that has been supportive of the new direction administration, lamented that the hardship the lockdown would create was caused by the opposition who do not mean well for the people.

He said cooperating with the Government would shame the few opposition, stating that Kabba Bunu people are law abiding and would not do anything to tarnish the image they are known for.

He also used the statement to call on the State government to temper Justice with mercy, saying that the economy is challenging already, and another lockdown in Kabba Bunu would add more hardship on the people.

The Chairmanship Aspirant assured that efforts would be put in place to ease there sufferings in this period of lockdown, saying it is a necessary evil caused by the few disgruntled politicians who do not mean well for the people.
