Muslims in the Kogi State Public Service have been congratulated on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan and also commended for the peaceful and orderly manner by which they have been conducting their religious activities in the Public Service and in the State in general.
The Kogi State Head of Civil Service, Elder (Mrs) Deborah A. Ogunmola made this statement in her Office while sending her Salah message to all Ministries in the State and Civil Servants in particular. She appreciated God Almighty for sparing their lives to witness another Muslim Festival (Eid EI Fitri).
Speaking further the Head of Civil Service also commended them for their contributions towards the peaceful coexistence in the Service as exemplified by their spirit of tolerance with Civil Servants of other faiths; she encouraged them not to relent in this as there is always room for improvement. She also enjoined them to contribute their quota in the service to the people of Kogi State as well as to remain loyal to the Government of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello. She concluded by wishing them a fruitful celebration and multiplication of God’s mercies upon them all.
