The newly sworn in Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Hon. Adewale Omofaiye, has appreciated Governor Yahaya Bello and his deputy, Edward Onoja, for giving him the opportunity to serve in the second phase of their administration as Commissioner, even as the government is ready to do more in terms of human infrastructural developments and good governance.
Hon. Omofaiye who was lost for words while expressing his deepest gratitude, promise to discharge his duties with all sense of humility and good service to the people of Kogi State.
“I see this as a great privilege to be among those that are to change the narratives once again in Kogi State. To be considered worthy of this position by the Governor is a big deal for me. I am ready and prepared to discharge my duties with all sense of humility, and I must appreciate the Governor and his deputy for this memorable opportunity” Hon. Omofaiye said.
Hon. Omofaiye further acknowledged that him failing to deliver of his duty is him disappointing his people and failing the state in general; as he pledge to continue representing the good people of Ijumu Local Government Area at every sphere of life.
